What the platform refuses, by architecture.
The platform’s refusals are architectural, not promotional. When asked about contested or ruling-class questions, TheoAI surfaces evidence and returns the determination to the qualified human. The boundary is engineered, not prompt-tuned.
We do not issue fatwas.
There is no surface in the platform that issues a fatwa or pronounces a binding ruling. The platform surfaces sources, narrators, grades, and scholarly opinions. The qualified scholar interprets and rules. The refusal lives in the workflow, not in the chat.
Bounded agency. Never full autonomy.
The platform is an Agentic Islamic Operating System — agentic, not autonomous. The decision authority remains with the human (the seeker, the scholar, the Shariah board). The platform compresses the cognitive work that supports the decision; it does not absorb the decision itself.
The scholar is the decider, by design.
Every output is an Evidence-Based Opinion (EBO), not a ruling. The architecture has no slot for a ruling output. This is structural, not a setting that can be flipped.
Synthetic training data, by construction.
