Pricing opens on annual billing, and checkout asks for less
The pricing page now opens on annual billing. Each plan shows its annual price expressed per month, the amount billed once a year beneath it, and the saving; the Monthly toggle is one click away and the plan buttons start checkout on whichever period is showing. Every figure is calculated from the same monthly prices the rest of the site reads, so the annual numbers cannot drift from them. The checkout window no longer asks for your name when payment is taken on Stripe, because the payment page asks for the cardholder name itself, and it no longer shows an empty promo-code box: codes arrive only in links we send, and a code in the link is applied and shown for you. Sponsoring a learner opens on one learner, monthly, with 1, 5, 10 or 25 as quick choices and a one-off gift of 3, 6 or 12 months as the alternative. After a subscription is confirmed, the thank-you page now opens Theo directly, tells you to look for your sign-in link by email, and shows the date a free trial ends when one applies. We also now count, with the same analytics consent as the rest of the site, when the pricing page is viewed, when a plan is chosen and when checkout starts, so we can see where people stop; none of these events carries your email address.
